Amy DeJong and Maya Warren, Midwestern scientists, won the Amazing Race, and were generally superb during the entirety of the 25th running of the race. They are probably the smartest contestants to ever play the game, the 3rd all-female team to win, and they are tough, because that game is definitely not for the lighthearted. I rooted for them pretty much from the beginning. They were very nice during the season, which was great, but that almost cost them an important leg of the race or two. Congratulations, women!
